space4environment partners with city of Luxembourg to Tackle Invasive Plant Species
We are thrilled to announce that space4environment has partnered with the City of Luxembourg within the FAIRiCUBE project as part of Use Case 1, focusing on mapping and managing invasive alien plant species (neophytes) within the city. This collaboration will provide space4environment access to valuable municipal data on habitats, climate, soil, and pollutants, enabling a comprehensive analysis of neophyte spread across the city.
The project aims to map neophyte observations, identify environmental factors influencing their presence, and predict future spread patterns. This will help highlight at-risk areas and guide better management of invasive species, contributing to the protection of Luxembourg's natural heritage.
This partnership will make a significant contribution to the FAIRiCUBE project, and we are excited about the positive impact it will have on environmental management in the city. More details can be found here. Stay tuned for updates on this important collaboration!
